NEEDLE KNOBS
Needle Knobs are special handles designed to hold one or more felting needles. Needle Knobs make felting much easier on the hands. Initial felting and compressing is done much more quickly when the felter is able to use more than one needle at a time. A Needle Knob Driver (philips head screwdriver) is used to secure the felting needles into the Needle Knob.
We carry 3 types of Needle Knobs. One type with one small hole for inserting one needle. A second type with one larger hole for inserting 2 or 3 needles close together. And a third type that has 3 small holes for inserting 1, 2 or 3 needles. This third one places multiple needles further from each other, giving a different felting effect than the second type which places multiple needles closer together. The third type allows you to felt a larger area more quickly and evenly. The second type allows you to felt a more concentrated depression more quickly.
NEEDLE TUBES
Needle Tubes are available for storing your felting needles safely. Once you've opened a package of needles, it is often hard to tell the difference between them with just the naked eye even though they each give a different felting result. These tubes are wonderful for keeping the different needle types separated and labeled.
