Lily - A Remembrance BearThis pattern was designed to honour the memory of "Judy V.", a good friend, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She passed away in February 2001, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, after a 5 year battle with cancer, at the age of 50. Judy was a fun loving, creative and thoughtful individual, who was the "social convenor" of her immediate circle of friends. An evening's entertainment at her home was sure to include lots of good food, great company and plenty of fun. Judy was not a teddy bear artist, but she did enjoy creative handwork, which she generously shared with her family and friends. Her family was a very important part of her life, especially her two yound grandchildren, in whom she took great delight. Judy had canvassed for the Cancer Society for the past few years, and the donations ariving from the sale of this pattern will help to carry on her work. All her family and friends miss her very much |
