Set the oven to 375 degrees.
In a saucepan, combine butter, cocoa & water. Bring to a boil; stir constantly. Remove from heat. In a large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, soda & salt; stir in eggs, buttermilk and vanilla. Add cocoa mixture; stir til blended. Pour into greased 15 1/2x10 1/2x1 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or til a toothpick comes out clean. Sprinkle with powdered sugar while still hot. These are my favorite cake-type brownies!
