Chocolate Pecan Pie

Ingredients
  • 1 uncooked 9" deep dish pie crust
  • 3 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp unsalted melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate chips

Preheat over to 375. Prepare pie crust.
Mix all ingredients except 1/2 cup pecan halves. Pour into pie crust. Arrange remaining pecans on top of pie. Bake approx. 50 minutes. Center will still jiggle, crust will be done. Do not over bake.

Serve warm or cool with chipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
