Nancy's Christmas Fudge

Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk(NOT sweetened condensed)
  • 5 oz of mini marshmallows
  • 6 oz of semi sweet choc chips (half a bag)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract(I use almond extract...gives it a differant flavor)

Mix every together in deep saucepan except choc and extract. Bring to a rolling boil on med. Boil for a timed 5 minutes-stirring constantly. This is important as it won't "set up" if it isn't boiled long enough. Remove from heat. Add chocolate chips and extract. Stir until choc is melted. Pour into a greased square pan(8"x8"). Cool then cut into squares. You can also add nuts but I like my fudge straight.
Now--this is very important--let the pan cool before you lick it.
