INSTRUCTIONS ON USING THE COPIC SYSTEM

Hello everyone - We’ve had several inquiries about the COPIC air brush system where people have used the can one time and gone back and the can is empty or they’ve disconnected the parts and all the air escapes from the can.

Remember, the CA60 can connects directly to the air grip (CAG)- no problem.

Here is the proper way to connect and disconnect the larger cans (CA80 and CA180)that require the hose (CAH) and air adapter (CAA) connection.

Connection:

1. Connect the air adapter (CAA) to the air grip (CAG).
2. Connect the small end of the air hose (CAH) to the bottom of the air adapter (CAA). Tighten firmly, but not so hard that you damage the screw threads.
3. ***Loosen the screw valve on the larger end of the air hose (CAH)! This prevents air from leaking from the can when you connect it!
4. Connect the larger end (with the screw valve)of the air hose (CAH)to the air can (CA80 or CA180).

To begin use:
1. Insert your COPIC marker into the air grip (CAG).
2. Tighten down the screw valve on the air hose (CAH) to release the air from the air can into the hose.
3. Press the button on the air grip (CAG) to begin airbrushing.

To finish and disconnect:
1. Remove the COPIC marker from the air grip (CAG).
2. Loosen the screw valve on the air hose (CAH)enough so it is no longer releasing air from the can. ***Do not remove the screw all the way! There is still pressure from the remaining air which will cause the screw to fly off under pressure!
3. Once the screw is loosened, press the button on the air grip to release any remaining air left in the hose.

4.When all the air is released from the hose (no more air comes out of the air grip), you can disconnect all parts and remove the can.

Note: If air continues to be released through the air grip (CAG), you may not have loosened the screw enough.
