Materials Used
Fur
A piece of merino sheep skin of at least 35" (90 cm) (or recycled fur coat or
mohair, faux fur of your choice)
Paws
One piece of Suede Eyes
18mm Small piece of white leather or suede for the eye patches, cut them
about 2mm bigger than the eye, (optional)
Joints
5 sets x 1.5" (40mm) discs with cotter pins
Thread
strong, match fabric back
Nose
18mm glass nose (if you are working with real fur)
Pearl Cotton 8ply black for mouth
(and if you are making Slippers out of mohair or faux fur)
Stuffing
Wool or Polyester & Steel Shot
Copic Pens or Air brush
Sinew
For needle sculpture
Thin
wire to make a frame for the tail.
Fray
stop only if you are using mohair or synthetic fur.
Calico
or cotton fabric Glue stick to glue the calico onto the back
Mask
(for when you cut real fur, to help protect you from the fine hairs that’ll
go flying about)
TOOLS
Sharp scissors, for cutting
out and sculpting

Small pliers or cotton
