This is a very natural synthetic.  This is a Steiff-Schulte synthetic with the woven cotton backing.  The pile is 13mm or 1/2 inch.  This fabric has guard hair and the coloring is shades of ginger for a realistic look just like our own hair.  Schulte calls this color fox.  It is a nice soft ginger color.
